 Who else has figured out the real reason God destroyed Sodom

Sometimes I wonder if I'm the first person in 2000 years who figured this one out. God did not destroy Sodom based on sexual misconduct, contrary to contemporary Christian movies and modern church teachings. The real reason the city was torched is described in plain language in the Bible, but not in Genesis.
